HYC Tuesday

Sunday's weigh in was up but today it is off.  It felt like water weight at the time.  That is all good but at the same time there is no real drop going on.  Something has to give, I want to reach that elusive Onerland again.  Reevaluating it all I'm thinking it is time to make a big change up in the type of work outs.  I really like what I'm doing but there was an article about a man's success story which pointed out his total routine change brought about the renewed weight lose after a long period of being stuck.  It is not a completely new idea just that I'm at a point of frustration that even things I hate would sound good if they would work.  Still going to keep a few things thrown in, that I like, here and there.
*Since the reformer is at the house it can be done a couple of evenings.  The Pilates class will go on hold for a bit though.
*Thinking I'll keep one yoga class and still do some home practice. It helps with more than just weight lose.  The pool is the same and that will happen as there is time if nothing else because I love it.
*Here is the hate part, running intervals.  Phew I said it, it is out there.  I hate to run, always have even when I was thin.  Just think it might be the kick in the pants that is needed.
*Going to talk to the trainer about a free weight mix.  I have thrown in some basic ones now and then but think she could come up with a good shake up.
*Go back to the Shred dvd.  I started it and then oops.  Well, back to every day.
*Another thing that was not followed through with was the quick burst aerodyne bike intervals.
I'm on the look out for different things and will ask the trainer when I talk to her about the free weights.

I would stick to things you love. You are more likely to keep going with those, right? I've never been a runner. Refuse to do it. There have been so many studies that say walking is a great way to exercise and I'm sticking to that. ;-)

I agree that doing things you love are usually the best bet but the numbers are just not changing. If a drop, even small ones, come along I'd have NO problem sticking to it. I'm trying to view it like the food changes I've made. There have been a lot of things I'd never liked or eaten and now look forward to. Hoping making the body do things it has not been doing will help. With you on the walking and with spring/summer there will still be lots of hiking/walking it just will not be the part counted for workouts.

Keep your eye on the prize (Onderland). Keep mixing it up and keep your body guessing what's coming next.

Thanks for the support.
