How is it going Rie?
So they have you working out twice a day now...that's just crazy. I have been checking out your daily menu, just estamating....but it looks like you are eating under 1,000 calories a day. That's starvation mode. Are you still doing the YOAD eating plan or does the nutritionist have you doing something else? You should check out Ellie Krieger's recpes on Foodnetwork, she is a nutritionist have has some great ideas.
Hope all is well, I have lost 5 pounds this week but I am still not down to my low.
I am trying not to be so anal about counting calories and really try and do YOAD as written.

I'm making the mediteranian white bean and chickn dish tonite.

Can I have the recipe for chicken tacos?

I am totally getting into the all organic everything up in here.
My kids vitamins have aspartame in them, what the hell...toss em in the trash, along with alot of other things.

It's exspensive to replace everything, so far I tossed and replaced all my makeup with organic.

Hope you didn't get to much snow, that shoveling is great exercise.

Hi Chari,
I'll get back to this in the afternoon (was just entering breakfast). Had a nasty fall helping my mom yesterday afternoon and wanted to get in to talk to the Pilates instructor about what to work on and not while sore. Did a number on my left upper side and right ankle. Oh so graceful, HA. Good news no Christmas ornaments were harmed in the fall. Funny thing was I was being so careful about the back and arms while shoveling then have trouble with stairs, go figure.
Be back

Hi again Chari,
Five pounds, YEAH, makes you feel good doesn't it. Glad the straight plan works for you. Think this old bod just says, yah what else have you got, HA. Either way this weight is coming off!

I'm still not going to be back to the lowest, 216 this Sunday. Was hoping to crack the 2teens but think maybe next week. It's hoovering around 221, 220. That will be 2 or 3 pounds off this week. It is at least better than I had been doing. And it is not going up anymore, Thank God.

The ankle is ok today but still babying the left arm and side. The burn down the left side of the back (from wacking the edge of the wall corner is a pain, keep bumping it or it will hurt when first pressed on). Goophie slip up! The instructor modified somethings. Did the track (not moving the left arm much, it felt funny but worked) and then the pool. Decided to skip trying any strength stuff today.

The nutritionist had it at 1400 calories a day. She had looked at my archieved meals/workouts and thought they were ok. Her advice was to try and limit proteins to 4 ounces a day and instead of a ton of cardio in the morning have some in the morning and some at night. Hated it at first but now I think I'm sleeping better with it as well. I have added to the amount of veggies when they are in the mix to replace other things. I do not count all the calories closely, it drives me crazy. Go strong on portion size (though like I said a lot of times increase the veggies). I just do not get hungry for more.

I've seen Ellie on foodtv.com. They do look good! Still make the guys there meals and just find quick and easy things work best for mine. I copy all the other recipes and then never make them. Get all the magazines also. Always think someday. The tacos are an example. I take what ever chicken(white meat)(sauteed, roasted, sometimes but not often boiled) either while cooking (if just for me) or after (if it is going into something for them as well) add some chili powder, cumin, red pepper, onion, oregano, garlic. Shred it or cube it. Think shred works best though. Usually make WW shells with WW tortillas (spray or wipe alittle oil on them and drape over two wires on the oven rack, hot oven to crisp). Yesterday used 2 of their regular ones, bad girl(out of the WW ones). Shred up the lettuce, cube the plum tomatos. Used to have a little FF sour cream but cut it out for now. Used to have a little cheese with it but cut that for now because of the protein limits.

Found at Whole Foods two dressing/marinades that taste good and I'm going to try and copy with out the added stuff. One was 'roasted red pepper' and the other was 'roasted yellow bell and serrano pepper'. The numbers on them were not horible though. Think they would be good over veggies and maybe some WW pasta dishes. I agree with the organic and as close to natural as possible. Why everything needs STUFF in it drives me crazy.

What make up did you get. I had been looking into it but not picked one yet. Have to admit most days it is only mascara (Sp?) and lip balm (that bee guys stuff). In the winter my skin gets so sensitive a lot of the make ups bug it.

Gotta get the guys dinner going, they look hungry. Lunch for me was so filling just going to have left over soup.

Taco recipe sounds great Rie,didn't know you could do the oven drap thing...way cool!
I bought organic wear makeup...but after doing research on thelinks posted on my site Aubrey organics is the best! I will be going to whole foods and shopping when I get my tax returns. You can also buy online. I only wear makeup to work and it's just mascara and eyeliner, eyebrow pencil and blush.

I have been having whole grains for breakfast and 1/2 oz walnuts every day this week...not sure but maybe that's why I lost..hmmmm

Check ya later

Hang in there!
