BBL

Today and night went way to fast. This is one pesky cold, going to bed early.
Went to a dermatologist and finally was told the stuff on my hand is a type of eczema. Have to change soaps, got medicated cream and moisturizer (plus a list of other doctor's orders). Hoping this finally works.
The foot doctor was very happy with the progress of the healing. He thought the toes were healing backwards though. He had worried about the big toe (he tells me now ;-) ) and that one is back to normal. It is the other two toes next to it that are still healing. He thinks they should both come around in time. I can keep the exercise the same for now since I'm doing a little more than he thought for now but it seems to be going all right. Oh, keep sneezing and the eyes are tearing... I give up. Hoping to wake up better, fingers crossed :-).

I love that! It is true... I was told for years that I would eventually get to a place where I was ready to lose weight- I waited for that moment in time and while waiting gained another hundred pounds... when I realized that I had to start and that the "perfect moment" might never come... it worked! I don't think anyone is really ever completely ready- when you take that leap of faith- it is amazing.
great quote. The best "fortune" I ever recived from a chinese restauarnt was this ... "a problem was solved the moment you were born". Its still on my fridge today.
:)
I had a type of dermatitis / allergy thing on my hands for years. Tried creams and potions galore. Then I read Mary-Ann Shearer's books and found out that she used to have the same thing, but it disappeared when she changed her diet. It worked for me too! One of the first indications that I'm slipping in my eating habits is when I get the tell-tale little blisters on my fingers!
Eczema is terrible. I just got diagnosed with it (my hands were looking like something out of a horror movie). Once I began using the medicine, it went away in three days. But I have to be consistent with it, or I notice my skin starts to flake again. Good luck with yours!
I hope you feel better soon.
Peeling veggies really aggravates my eczema. It's not pretty!
The medicine does seem to be helping. No new bumps and the big spot is looking a bit better. In the past the foods may have been a part but they are being watch along with blood tests pretty close. Thinking stress maybe a part in it along with the dry winter skin already there. I had not had this for around four years and that time was a very stressful time also. Looking back it totally went away after the whole situation ended then.
Tamzin love that fortune!
