quote"Hi Chari, I'm breaking down (counting cal. against workout) with the lack of progress. Downloaded the 7 day trail of calorie king. Do you have to get zero even in the equation or just around it to be doing it right? Hope things are going well at your end. Rie" As you probably know I have Calorie King, I know lot's about it..however I don't understand the question?...zero where...I'll be here till 1:00 ish EDT it's 9:25 now or I have instant messangers if you need to chat.
It's in the box (I think called summary) at the bottom left. The intake cals and exercise against the cals for the day. The program is on the other computer and I can not get on it right now (really until tomorrow). Rie
You should intake 1,702.35 calories max, don't go below 1,400 calories and burn 500 calories a day in exercise. I just calculated your BMR based on 217 5'8" and 46 yo female. Funny my calorie king is in the basement also...but I mostly use puter upstairs, guess I got kicked off my brand new puter...damn kids..lol..so I guess if you eat 1,600 calories and your exercise 500 burned off your calorie king will say you have 602.35 calories left out of you budget. That's almost 2 pounds lost in five days, your goal should be 1-2 pounds a week...so eat up girl!
I hear you. I'm on my DH's work laptop at the kitchen table. DH is on the new one (playing) and my son is on the one in the guest room. The lap top does not have the fun stuff on it, just his work stuff.
Thank you for info.! Just afraid to raise the cals. (bad luck with that in the past). Trainer lowered the work out some already. Weight was at 218 as of Monday, going the wrong way. But she wants me to hang in there awhile. The other thing is I just do not get hungry. Willing to try it for a while and see. Had some blood work done today and if things do not change, may be asking the doc about it at the follow up. Your site is looking great. Rie
The thing about raising calories...just do it for a week and see, my guess is right now you don't have a clue as to how many calories you put in the body. Play with it, no matter what plan you follow, it's all about calories in and calories spent. It's just a balance , I have after all these years figured out.
Check ya later p.s. make sure you have a good scale...mine was making me crazy till I figured out it was junk!
Forgot to add...I really think my first two months where slow in loss because I didn't have enough calories...my thought was the lower the better..but no, now trying to keep those healthy calories up!
Come on Rie......I know your tired and I can sympathize with you. You need to remember that this isn't a short term change but a life long way. So when you think of it that way........you will never be finished. :) Feel better? Hugs! Kim
