Today got into the foot doctor's. The surgery is finally set, Dec 11, Yeah! So happy to finally be getting it done. While there he noticed the bump on the top of the foot and said it was a bone spur. It is also right at a nerve so it will get done at the same time as the neuroma. It probably was adding to the pain. It will be so great to be able to REALLY work out again after it is healed. Looking for a coming year of renewed loses as things get added back!

The neuroma ~ is a benign, perineural fibrotic lesion of a common digital nerve. I call it a pain n the neck. Hurts and throws off balance. We tried all the non surgical treatments but it keeps getting worse. Started with the feeling like there was a stone in the foot and toes were numb or painful (also look funny because they are separating). But got worse and more painful. Hard part is any pressure on the bottom front of the foot set it off. Bye bye cardio. They are going to cut the effected nerve piece off.
Can not wait to hit the track and yoga again.
