Happy Feet * Happy Face

Photobucket
Found this and it just made me smile.

Got to thinking... use this image in my mind when the feet start paining.  Today went back to sandals.  Those orthotics drive the feet (even the good one) nuts because then it is the whole foot and ankle.  Now though the original pain or numbness   "seems" not as bad.  Either way think the surgery is sounding better.  So want to get back to full work out and being able to walk comfortably again.  Enough on that.

Finding an up side to my son's dairy allergy.  With the loss of his beloved cheese and cream base stuff he is coming around to other options.  He did not like the fake cheeses except for a faux parmesan.  Eaten plain it had a different texture but on or in foods it is not detectable.  Went in search of different marinades and condiment style things to dress foods up.  It has been hit and miss on the various ones brought home.   It was funny that in the end each trial item had at least one of us liking it.  He found a fake cream cheese he really liked.  Not so good yet on a sour cream sub (hoping to find something to make a ranch style sub.).  He found a soy milk he liked but decided the vanilla for drinking but plain on cereal.  Need a bigger frig.

Not sure how fast a person's system changes with diet changes and food allergies but got to wondering today.  I had thought my son was so different today, actually building each day.  So much more like himself (it has been so long with the shifted personality and moods, plus he always felt BAD).   My older son commented on it today and realized it was not just me seeing it.  All the medicine and stuff has been so complicated and had many side effects.  The tubes helped but this week each day seems to bring more of "him" back out.  Tonight my older son said "Oh my God bring the quiet one back!" .  Wonder if it is to much to hope for all health issues to go away over time for him?  Side note, Sat and Sun brought back quite a bit of his symptoms.  Guess the end of dairy, tubes and end of most meds. was not the lucky combo to end it all.  Keep on trying.
