Back Here Again

PhotobucketRemember...This week nothing but Veggies and soup! And work, work, work!

Ok the weigh in blues are over! And I had them bad. Beat the bod this morning to start the new week off with the, there is going to be a turn around this week attitude and work. Not sure what all it is going to take but I am going to find it and do it. This mini yoyoing has to end! The birthday came and went with the scale still saying no Onederland. It just seems so impossible. But ease up on the work even alittle and it comes right back. So have to keep working it.
Got a bike for my birthday, love it. Plan on getting in at least a short ride every no rain day. Saving up for a thingy for the back tire that you can ride it in doors (with tension) on those rainy and winter days.

Hi Kim,
I put a pic of the bike above. I really like it. It is made by Specialized, it's a crossroads. Had the idea maybe DH and I could hit the trails this spring/summer. He use to ride a lot. If not I go on my own and we will still just hike the trails.

The weight thing is just so nuts. Feels like I'm fighting with this body and it is a tie. I did not get into my Sat. morning Pilates class so going to try a studio class instead. A friend is really pushing a spin class. Almost getting brave enough to give it a go. Maybe the changes would help. It's also getting to be grilling weather. Maybe grilled veggies will help.

How exciting about the engagement! I'm so happy for her and you. Your lucky to have a daughter. And now a great son inlaw. I'd love to loss 82. But I'd even be happy with 70 more gone. Ok positive thinking... we will have 82 off my next year no augh, ha!

I really like the look of your bike. I am definitely going to have to see if I can find one. I have a friend who bikes all the time. Every year she and her 'friend' goes to Florida and bike all week long. I need to get a car that I can haul a bike around on though. It's been forever since I have been on one that rolls. Should be lots of fun!!!!!

Hey Kim,
I know what you mean about hauling it around. The front wheel comes off and it only just fits in the back seat of my car. DH thought we would put both bikes in the car but do not think that is going to happen. His bike is bigger than mine. Asked at the shop, they have bike racks that can be put on and off for two bikes (we do not have a tow thingy for other types). Just portioning off the $$ pain (way to many April bdays in this family). The neighborhood rides are good for now anyway, really feel them. Your friend's trip sounds really fun!

I have a little two seater car.....and I don't think DH will let me put anything on his car. I could ride around the neighbourhood..... Don't get discouraged because that causes stress and stress will definitely keep the weight on and maybe add some..... LOL!!!! your doing fantastic.
