Turn Yourself Around

Yesterday in yoga class the instructor kept saying, change direction change perception. The first few times it rang as just the statement of changing the side of the body for the pose and how it felt different on each side or how the use of a pose could benefit the depth of a previous pose done again. As the class and more so as the day went on the statement has a point for other fitting avenues. It can become easy to avoid an edge or get stuck in an uncomfortable place. Finding balance or an alternate route to an necessary end can become a forgotten thought. Going to really try to practice the directional change in mind and body.
