Lightheaded Tuesday

Woke up not feeling well this morning and ended up coming home and going to bed for a bit.  Stayed home the rest of the day but got caught up on some home things later in the afternoon.  This evening I was only up to the pool.  Hoping to feel better tomorrow and getting more in.

Sunday again

Catching up ... 
managed a 2 pound loss this week.  *Hoping*  It had been at one pound yesterday morning at the gym and I'm a little afraid the second is water after being out sweating most of yesterday.  The only thing is the eating was off with not being at places with great things to pick from.  There was a lot of water which may have balanced it out.  The festival was fun and the bands were good (of course I liked my son's the best ;-) ).   The evening get together was very nice just wish people would plan in some healthier choices along with the so called goodies.  Today is back to a regular day and it is so much cooler.  Nice break.  Off for a morning hike with this nice weather.

Festival, Pool and Ditkas

Weekends go by WAY to fast.  Took a few hours out of Father's Day to stop by the Cantigny Fine Arts Festival.  There were some very creative artists.  Love window shopping.  Several booths had musical artists which were very interesting.  It was so nice to hear them as you walked through the booths.  Have to go back soon to see all of the gardens.  It was so hot and humid only ventured through a small bit.  They were beautiful and need to bring a camera next time.  
Sunday weigh in was a good one.  Now to keep that going and get back in the swing.  
The message board at the pool just had  Create Your World   on it.   Taking that to heart again, lately it has felt like just walking through the paces.  Time to reconnect.

With a little help from my son

Really did not feel up to the gym tonight. I mean really! My son gave the push to get my sore body there. Would have loved the pool but there just was not time. Even though it is work it is so relaxing at the same time. Did not have dinner because DH wanted a certain dinner that took time and it was just to much right before working out. By the time I was home just did not want much. It was nice to get back in some of the Pilates again. Still having problems with some of the exercises that have you on the toes (from the surgery). It made me realize how much I have missed the yoga (since I tend to think of the two together).

It was a beautiful morning, perfect for a start the day walk.  With all the rain things are so green and blooming.  The day was full of have to does but made it to the gym in the evening for a bit before it closed.  Over all a nice day.

Oh, the endurance and muscle tone goes fast.  Today pointed that out.  Just have to work through this again.  My son has joined the gym and he also went today.  We have agreed to keep each on this.  There is a goal for next March for both of us.  Hoping we are both happy in the end.
