Patience and Persistance... Now

Oh this really fits, in so many ways lately. In the end patience and enjoying what is right now is the only sensible thing to do. Being impatient and unhappy certainly does not help in anyway. Just funny because the older I get the less patience seems to be readily available.
BBL things keep coming up...

It is getting late and keep losing my train of thought with all that is going on tonight around here. Last night's teen Bday sleepover (there was no real sleep involved) is also taking it's toll tonight. Maybe best to just turn in.

Wow, have not been doing the yoga regular like before and today tight rubber band muscles. It is amazing how fast they seem to tighten up. Worked through it as best as possible. Really felt weird even after class so just hit the pool. The sun was sneaking out and thought I'd take the opportunity to get a bike ride in before more rain comes along. Plan on getting in some more exercise tonight to make up for less at the gym this morning. Have to clean the house though, it is the fifteen year olds laser quest sleep over Bday bash Saturday. Going to need help getting through it, all those teenagers overnight. My husband handles it better.

The new plan to maybe get things moving is to keep the cardio up but focus more on floor and core work with less weight machines. Since I could not get into the Pilates Sat. class going to give an aerobics class a try. We'll see.

Went to the gym and it does help with the mood. But so feed up with not seeing results anymore. And even more with people thinking/saying whatever (eat to much, eat to little, eat crap, cals in cals out...) After going to the gym over a year now people there just feel comfortable giving their two cents. It is just hard because most of it I am already doing or have tried (possibly several times). Wish there was a sign over me to say she can not eat crap because with internal problems it makes her very sick. Went to the doctor for something else and got on the subject. Still, just keep up what your doing and not every one is meant to be thin, GRRRRRRRRRR. At this point just want to get to normal weight. She says you do not look your weight, but what does she have as the category on the chart? Guess the lack of new ideas to try is frustrating me. The working out morning and night was working but it was taking over everything and family was not happy. Plus do not think I could keep it up for life. Do not mind exercise but there are other things I like. And the light exercise does not seem to have much effect for me.
Going to stop typing and take a ride. No matter what, it is going to be more positive tomorrow. Sorry for the rants.

My new bike. It's by Specialized, Crossroads. It's comfy and good on the road and trails.

My goodness, hitting the work out hard this week has me sooo sore. The yard work is not helping. But I love it and all the fresh air helps with sleep. It is so nice to be outside. Things are coming up and turning green. The robins were following me around while I got all the leaf mulch up off the flower beds last evening. The rest of the birds were not as happy at the feeders, guess they will have to get use to people being in the yard again.

Back Here Again

Ok the weigh in blues are over! And I had them bad. Beat the bod this morning to start the new week off with the, there is going to be a turn around this week attitude and work. Not sure what all it is going to take but I am going to find it and do it. This mini yoyoing has to end! The birthday came and went with the scale still saying no Onederland. It just seems so impossible. But ease up on the work even alittle and it comes right back. So have to keep working it.
Got a bike for my birthday, love it. Plan on getting in at least a short ride every no rain day. Saving up for a thingy for the back tire that you can ride it in doors (with tension) on those rainy and winter days.

Something Completely Different :-)

This has nothing to do with food, weight or exercise. Just thought this was fun.

~ Ok this struck me today. For a long time now I've not felt hungry or wanting to just go eat things. But today there was this constant thing, I guess thought of, Oh just go get --- (any number of things filled in here) ---. It was not hunger. No tummy screaming or growling. Just a pesky, annoying nudge of, come on GO. Wondered if the non exercise day had anything to do with it. It was not boredom because there was still plenty going on. Just hope the next morning finds it gone again.

My personal challenge starts 6/13/09.  
It is to get to, or as close to the goal as possible by next March.
I have stepped out of my comfort zone and signed up to chaperon a school trip the end of March 2010.  
So! do not want to go on this cruise in this shape.
