The first week of trying the nutritionists/trainer plan was a Gain (big), not good. Sent me in a dark but determined mind set. Though the meals were followed there were some missed work outs. This past week worked it and though not back to lowest weight yet there was a five pound drop. Some may have happened with the regular work out of the past but five in a week was not happening the past few moths no matter what. This has me hopeful that this will start a trend of losses now. I realize not five every week but any progressive downward movement will be great.
The cardio in the evening has been a little tough some days. But even if it was late when doing it it was wonderful after it was worked in. If it seemed to wake me up to much threw in some lighter yoga after ending in relaxation pose and a good nights sleep was easy. Maybe she hit it on the head that the metabolism was worked up strong with a long strong morning work out but dropped off hard and fast.
The cut back in protein has been a test. It was not a lot but guess I love the protein. Had already felt it was low, got use to it so this to will become the norm. Trying to replace it with mostly veggies. Guess it is time to find some new all veggie recipes.

Just Keep Trying
Still trying ... not getting far, but working it. Just some fun stuff.

The goodies inside
Will be easier to ignore.~The Quote Garden

Don't Worry Be Happy :-)
For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
This hit home tonight. With another week of a no loss, sadness was turning to out and out anger. Anger with out a fulfilling way to burn it off. The time at the gym sadly did not help. Telling myself just keep working it and it will start up again is falling short. How long do you keep doing something that does not seem to be working anymore? Have to keep looking for the missing puzzle piece and not let this get to me in the mean time. The classes start back up at the gym this week and going to see the nutritionist Tuesday. Added a flow yoga class to the list. Thinking of upping the cardio and scaling back some of the strength training for a bit. Need to find a way to be focused on healthy weight loss but not have it be the be all end all. For tonight when the anger starts to work its way back into thoughts have to repeat Ralph's quote.

The Facing The Damage
Finally got back into the gym today. Faced the official music, though not the Sunday weigh in. The damage ended up at 224, ouch. Six pounds up from just before all the holidays. Not getting in regular full work outs is killer for me. Will just have to get in there every day and at least get some amount of work in. The classes do not start back up for a while but have to try and be up for them when they do. Ordered an inexpensive Pilate's reformer and can not wait to try it when it gets here. Hoping it will help to get things back on track. Planning on finally using the yoga items and DVD that was a Christmas gift. The newness of Rock Band has died down for the guys so the TV is finally freed up.
